At two points in the story, Apachai became an urban legend: when he disguised himself as a transfer student and played basketball for Kōryō High's basketball team, and when he jumped up a burning apartment complex and rescued a baby, witnessed by several firefighters.
Apachai is the second character (Kenichi being the first) to come back to life after dying. However, Kenichi was brought back by Akisame's crazy healing methods, while Apachai brought himself back to life by his own willpower.
According to Kenichi himself, together with Shigure they are the worst possible master-combination as escorts. Probably due to experiencing misfortunes with them as individual escorts.
Apachai is able to hold his breath for about a day thanks to his large lung capacity.[1]
Both He and Mihai also share a passion, which is food. While Apachai prefers simple food like hamburgers and yearns for a simple life, Mihai enjoys expensive gourmet food.
Apachai’s catchphrase, “Yabba Dabba Doo!” actually originated from Fred Flintstone of the Cartoon Network series’ The Flintstones.
