She was being targeted by Yami for assassination. Alexander Gaidar of the One Shadow Nine Fists was sent to kill her but she was rescued by Akisame Kōetsuji and Kenichi Shirahama.
Later the Congresswoman was in charge of arresting Alexander Gaidar for deploying Russian soldiers to Japan without authorization and enlisted the aid of Ryōzanpaku Masters Akisame Kōetsuji and Shio Sakaki.
